5 ways to wellbeing

25 May 2014

We all face ups and downs in life with our career, our finances…and even our health. It may be just one, or a combination of these things that can spiral your life out of control. I know. I’ve been there, done that, and got the T-shirt, so to speak.

Although everything we come across in life is actually there to test us, sometimes these situations can seem so overwhelming, so insurmountable, so unfair, that one wonders what “him upstairs” means by all of this.

And therein lies the opportunity !

To see yourself in a different light. To see what you are really made of. To realise that deep down you really are a strong, successful and accomplished individual…and that you can get through this. Sure, it will take some effort. Sure, it will take some patience. Sure, you may even need to see one or more advisors, counsellors, mentors, or coaches. Yet, that is what that network is there for. To assist and guide you through the murky, muddy waters of change….probably because they are qualified to do so, but more likely because they have been there, done that, and got the T-shirt themselves.

So, what is so great about the campaign “5 Ways to Wellbeing”?

It is great, because it encourages you to actively participate in bettering yourself, your life, and the life of those around you. It is in fact, a project of self-care and self-preservation. If you embark on it, you may never come to know the hardships of poor health, bankruptcy, lack of confidence, anxiety, or pain. You may just find yourself doing things that bring you success in health, wealth, wisdom and happiness. You may just find yourself.

I encourage you to Connect, Be active, Take notice, Keep learning and Give.

For more information on how to participate please click here.

I may just create a Nordic Walking challenge for you to participate in. Just maybe.

To your wellbeing !
